David Stodolsky (BA, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; MA University of Wisconsin, Madison; PhD, University of California, Irvine) did post-doctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley and at Stanford University in social-psychology. The research focused upon group problemsolving when computer executable rules were used to resolve conflicting requests to speak in teleconferencing environments. Current research interests include security mechanisms for enhancing personal integrity in communication and healthcare systems, management of argumentation and commitments in computer conferencing systems (most recently with an emphasis upon peer review mechanisms), and real-time group decision support.
